My 2 daughters have been karate students at ADAA for many years since they were both very small. Both have learned great lessons in discipline, exercise, hard work and how to defend themselves. Their training has also boosted their confidence and their will to keep pressing forward. The trainers and leaders do an excellent job with their students, and they encouraged and inspired me to begin training in Aikido over 3 years ago. American Defensive Arts Academy comes recommended by some of the top martial artists in the field. This school is well ran and well equipped. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. Your child will learn to both give and command respect, and to protect themselves when needed. I've studied Aikido at this school for about 3 years after moving to the area. I also study at another school in Dallas, and studied in Arkansas for about 12 years prior to moving. I find the instruction excellent. And, the attitude and interaction of both the teachers and students is second to none. Watching the kids class, I'm constantly impressed at how well Martinez Sensei works with the kids. Highly recommend.
